Winner of three Emmy Awards with an additional four nominations for her work on Harry’s Law, Frasier, The District, 24, and Samantha Who. Jean has also made her presence known on the big screen and garnered an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her critically acclaimed performance in the Miramax feature film Guinevere. Her talents also shine on the stage as she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for her starring role on Broadway opposite Nathan Lane in The Man Who Came To Dinner.  

During her award-winning career, Jean has showcased her talents alongside numerous top Hollywood actors including Drew Barrymore and Robert Downey Jr. in Lucky You, Reese Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama, Steve Martin in Bringing Down The House, Dustin Hoffman, Mark Wahlberg and Naomi Watts in I Heart Huckabees, Natalie Portman and Peter Sarsgaard in Garden State, Bruce Willis in The Kid, Robert De Niro and Martin Landau in Mistress, and Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau in The Odd Couple II among others. Her recent film work includes Great Hope Falls with Meryl Streep, Life As We Know It opposite Katherine Heigl, Barry Munday with Patrick Wilson and Judy Greer, and Youth in Revolt with Michael Cera.

Jean has also worked with many high-profile filmmakers including Curtis Hanson (L.A. Confidential), David O. Russell (Three Kings), Adam Shankman (Hairspray) Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure), Andy Tennant (Hitch), Betty Thomas (Doctor Dolittle), Miguel Arteta (The Good Girl) and many others.

Jean’s most recent television work includes recurring roles on Harry’s Law, Hawaii Five-o, $#*! My Dad Says, and the Hallmark Channel film William & Catherine: A Royal Romance.

Jean performed in Opening Act’s 2013 Play Reading of Matt Hoverman’s The Glint.
