Opening Act Alumni Spotlight: Krystal Rosa

What high school did you go to and when did you graduate?

I went to two different high schools. Holcombe L. Rucker and graduated from City-As-School High School in 2014.

What’s your biggest goal in life right now?

My biggest goal in life right now is to finish college and continue on to grad school for a masters in art therapy and to continue acting.

Can you tell me about a memorable experience you’ve had with Opening Act?

An amazing and memorable experience was my first ever Summer Conservatory.

How does that experience influence your life today?

There I met so many great people and gained many acting skills and social skills that will stay with me forever in all aspects of my life.

What’s your favorite song right now?

My favorite song right now is “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran

What do you see yourself accomplishing in the next 5 years?

In the next five years I hope to have my masters in Art Therapy, with a job that I like & also somehow, I want to travel a lot. I also want to be involved with Opening act in some shape or form. Whether it’s donating money so kids can get a chance to get the experiences that I had or directly working with them and helping them create these experiences. I also really want to continue acting in any way that I can. Acting allows me to be silly and get out of the stress that comes with life.
