Janet Onyenucheya is a New York City based actress, singer, and composer. She is a Bronx native and former NYC public school student, graduating from the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music, Art and the Performing Arts. Janet’s most notable accomplishments include performances at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The Museum of Modern Art, The Brooklyn Museum, Jazz Upstairs (Athens, Greece) Parafono (Athens, Greece), and many notable venues both domestically and internationally. She is a featured songwriter at ASCAP and has twice been awarded as a writer and composer of distinguished talent. Janet holds a B.A. degree from Berklee College of Music and works as an arts educator across New York City’s five boroughs.
