Corinne Donly is an educator, a writer, and a performer, with a particular passion for merging ecology and theatre. Donly is currently pursuing an MFA in playwriting from Brooklyn College and holds an MA in Integral Ecology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. As writer/director, Donly’s work has received support from the Canadian Arts Council, the Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Dixon Place, Target Margin, Springboard Danse Montreal, and the Harold Clurman Center for New Work. As an educator, Donly has developed an original curriculum called “Acting Ecologically,” which guides students in creating plays about their environments. Donly also teaches composition to freshmen at Brooklyn College, is a company member with Detroit-based theatre group A Host of People, and is working on an upcoming performance for the San Francisco theatre company Mugwumpin. www.corinnedonly.com
