Daiva Deupree is an actor, writer, and improvisor. She studied mime in Paris, France at Marcel Marceau’s International School of Mime, and studied and now performs improv with former Groundling Holly Mandel at Improvolution in NYC. Film credits include:”The Bits in Between,” and “A Lack of Gravity.” Theater credits include: Naked Radio: for Naked Angels (Ars Nova/ Cherry Pit), Pageant Play (Berkshire Theater Festival), and Big Babies (Vineyard Arts Project). She also co-created the comedy-burlesque show Two Girls for Five Bucks (Ars Nova) with Cathleen Carr. She has volunteered as an actor, writer, director, dramaturg, dancer, and quesadilla maker at The 52nd Street Project for the last four years, and worked as the Education Assistant for the 2014/2015 school year. She is thrilled to be a part of the Opening Act team.
