Dana Shulman, an improviser, actor, and marathon runner originally from Framingham, Massachusetts, is super happy to now call Washington Heights her home. Dana graduated from Brandeis University and studied improv at The Peoples Improv Theater, Upright Citizens Brigade, and The Magnet Theater. She performs every Sunday at 7PM at The PIT’s longest running independent improv show Student Driver: Indie Road. Student Driver also hosts The PIT’s longest running improv festival, Indie-Pendence Day, held yearly on The Fourth of July. Dana plays with PIT house team Lovers and independent musical improv team The Shady Bunch. She is a proud company member of Unauthorized!, a team that produces musical parodies of movies. You can follow her often funny running adventures on Instagram at @followthatfannypack. Dana is honored to be a part of The Opening Act family.
