Elijah graduated from Canarsie Educational Campus in Brooklyn ahead of his class and a year early. He went to school in Albany for a year and while there he studied theater and computer science. He was an Opening Act student for three years and has remained part of the community for the two years since graduation. He has always excelled in the arts, performing in plays such as Future Thinking, Tennessee Williams’s Suddenly Last Summer. He has also experienced being on “The Today Show” in 2016, alongside Josh Groban and fellow Opening Act students. The arts have  always been a safe place for him to express himself and he wishes to provide that same space for his  students. He is motivated to sharpen his skills in the arts every day.
