Liza Miller

Liza Miller is an actor, singer, and teacher in NYC. She is thrilled to be a Teaching Artist with Opening Act for her fourth year! Liza also works with other arts and nonprofit organizations that place after- school, in-school residencies, and summer theatre and music programming for under-resourced NYC public school students. These include Broadway Bound Kids, GOProject, YWCA, and the Community Word Project (Advanced TATIP). Liza runs her own private voice and acting studio as well. Performance Credits include: Theater: Twelfth Night (The Schoolhouse Theatre), Warsaw (Alvin Ailey & NYMF), Booth! The Musical (Skirball Center for Performing Arts),The Who’s Tommy (Debaun Center for Performing Arts), Flim Flam (York Theatre), Chicago (Weathervane Repertory Theatre), Jacques Brel (Provincetown Playhouse), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Chicago Theater), Film: Mr. Blue Sky. TV: “We the People” (NBC). Training: Master’s in Classical Acting, LAMDA; Bachelor of Music – Vocal Performance in Musical Theatre, NYU.
