Caleb Grandoit
Caleb Grandoit is an actor, writer, director and dancer. He made his television debut as Ronald Toussiant in the Netflix original series Grand Army, written by Katie Cappiello. His acting career, however, began on stage. He originated the role of Marcus in the Steppenwolf Theatre production of Now That Men We’re Men, written and directed by Katie Cappiello. Caleb has performed in past Opening Act Annual Play Readings as Donnie in Exit Strategy and a self-authored poem (both under the direction of Kenny Leon at New World Stages). As a writer, Caleb’s poem MisUnderstood is featured in Now That We’re Men: A Play and True Life Accounts of Boys, Sex, & Power, published by Dottir Press. His writing credits also included editing original student plays Intersections and Security Strike (directed by Kamilah Forbes) at Opening Act’s Annual Play Reading at New World Stages. He released his first short film Only Seen As Three, in January 2020. The film was written, directed and produced by him. His second short film April with August is set to release 2021.
