Dominique Fishback recently wrapped a feature film starring opposite Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. She also starred as “Darlene” in HBO’s critically acclaimed drama series THE DEUCE and received outstanding reviews for her break-out performance, which reunited her with David Simon. A Brooklyn native, accomplished spoken word poet, playwright and stage actress, Dom has penned a groundbreaking one-woman show, SUBVERTED, about the destruction of Black identity in America. She plays 18 characters and was nominated for an Innovative Theater Award for Outstanding Solo Performance. You can also see her work in FOX’s feature film THE HATE U GIVE and portraying Jay-Z’s mother in his music video for the song SMILE.  She starred in Night Comes On, which premiered at Sundance 2018! Dom has joined Opening Act for the 2017 and 2018 Play Reading galas, being featured as both an actor and a playwright in the latter.
