Lizabeth Newman, a private investor and philanthropist, is an enthusiastic supporter of the arts and education both here and abroad. A world traveler, she enjoys her role as supporter of numerous nonprofit organizations, serving currently on the New York Philharmonic Board of Trustees. Her involvement in New York leadership includes roles as former Vice Chair of Orpheus Chamber Orchestra as well as Former Trustee of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and many others. She has been engaged with the Prince of Wales Foundation for many years and enthusiastically supports its programs.

Lizabeth and her husband, The Honorable Frank N. Newman, former U.S. Deputy Treasury Secretary, live an international lifestyle, splitting their time between New York and Hong Kong. She enjoys travel and is a devoted patron of the arts in New York, Hong Kong and elsewhere.

Lizabeth has been a strong supporter of Opening Act since 2008.
