Volunteers Needed!

Dear Opening Act Community,

I’m thrilled to introduce the 2020 Act 2 Fellows! Made possible by a grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, 8 former Opening Act students joined as Act 2 Fellows in January, 2020. This year-long, comprehensive workforce development program builds on the hugely transferable skills our fellows learned as Opening Act high school students.

Transitioning to adulthood and the world of work, Act 2 Fellows are engaging in vital professional development through weekly workshops, mentorships, and project-based learning opportunities. As Opening Act programming has moved online, the Act 2 Fellows are helping to keep the community connected and providing near-peer leadership to current students and alumni.
