Jeremiah M. Thompson is an actor born and raised in The Bronx. He joined Opening Act during his time at Herbert H Lehman high school and it has changed his life. Opening Act has shown him that his voice matters through the power of “yes and” regardless of what room he’s in. Opening Act inspired him to pursue a career In the arts. In 2017 Jeremiah was in Stag and Lion Theatre Company’s production of William Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” in the role of Fleance. Reconnecting with Opening Act through the Act 2 program, he hopes to spark that flame in another student the same way Opening Act’s teaching artists did with him. Jeremiah is very excited to start this next chapter in his life.
