Josephine Chiang is a film & television actor and teaching artist based in NYC. They have spent equal parts of their life in Taiwan and the US. Across their acting work, Josephine focuses on bringing to life various aspects of queer and Asian experiences. They have starred in leading roles across many short and feature films that have gone on to premiere at international festivals and stream on Amazon Prime, Tubi, and more. In their teaching artistry, Josephine got their start creating and teaching summer programs in Taiwan for middle schoolers, aimed at boosting confidence for English-as-second-language speakers. This is Josephine’s second year with Opening Act, and they are grateful for the bright young actors that this program helps to uplift!
