Opening Act Runs NY! on March 17, 2024

                                                               

 

Opening Act is excited to announce that we were selected as a charity partner with New York Road Runners (NYRR). Our team, Opening Act Runs NY, is participating in the 2024 United Airlines NYC Half!

One of the ways to enter the 2024 United Airlines NYC Half is through the NYRR’s Charity Partner Program. Our team currently has 5 spots available for the upcoming NYC Half to be held on March 17, 2024.

We would love to have you or perhaps someone you know join Team Opening Act.  Please see more details below and feel free to share. 

 

TEAM MEMBER BENEFITS

• -Guaranteed entry into the 2024 United Airlines NYC Half.
• -Opening Act Branded Partner Team T-shirt.
• -Assistance setting up a personalized fundraising website.
• -Training tips and resources provided by NYRR.
• -Resources and support to help you meet your fundraising goal.

 

MARATHON TEAM MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES

• -Commitment to raise at least $2,500 that will support Opening Act’s After School Theatre Programs.
• -Each runner will create a fundraising page on the peer-to-peer platform, Haku.
• -Runners on our team are guaranteed entry, but are responsible for their registration fee paid to New York Road Runners   ($135 for NYRR members, $160 for non-members.
• -Requirement to provide credit card information as a personal guarantee against the fundraising goal.

OTHER WAYS TO SUPPORT TEAM OPENING ACT

Already have a guaranteed entry to the 2024 United Airlines NYC Half? You can still support Team Opening Act! Runners can create their own pages on Haku and raise funds for Opening Act.
